Hummingbird hawk moth by Sam Shorto

I’d never seen a hummingbird hawk moth, so when I spotted something hovering around the buddleia in my garden, it took me a moment to realise what it was. Grabbing my camera and running outside, I managed to take a short burst of shots before it flew away. This was my favourite.
