A Moment of Stillness by Amy Brown

On a sunny day at the end of May I had a brief but mystical encounter with a fox in my garden. Timid at first, it took a chance and pranced towards me, taking a moment to soak in the warmth of the midday sun before rushing past and slipping under the gate.
